Etsy Stores I Love :: BABY

Etsy Stores I Love :: BABY

Between getting married and getting pregnant, I have become obsessed with Etsy. As I was wandering the cybersphere of the Etsy rabbit hole, I decided I might as well feel productive about this habit and start sharing my favorite Etsy stores with you. I'll start with the baby items I can't get enough of and go from there...

Non Maternity Clothes that just WORK!

Non Maternity Clothes that just WORK!

95% of the time, I go into my closet and what I pull out no longer fits. I feel like "Fat guy in a little coat" daily. But on the rare occurrence that the item works, I want to kiss the designer for making my life a little easier. Such is the case with these shorts. Non-maternity shorts are a joke at this point. I'm closing in on 6 month pregnant. As my wonderful husband would say, I "look pregnant as shit" lately. But Fran Denim was designed with crossfit in mind so their stretch and comfort level is like no other.

The Perfect Vacation Memento

The Perfect Vacation Memento

Living in Nassau is not a permanent thing for me and my husband. We are briefly spending 3-4 years here for work and sometimes we just wish you could take the beach with you when we finally leave. You just want something to remember is all by...

A few months ago I found out about an incredible company, Dune Jewelry, and was beyond excited. In fact, keeping it to myself this long has felt like hiding a pregnancy. I wanted to wait until every one could see this post and how incredible this idea is.

Simple Things Bring Infinite Pleasure.

Simple Things Bring Infinite Pleasure.

I talk about my skin care a lot. And here's a simple secret... When I come home and want to get the junk off my face, I use Simple Micellar Water. Why? Well, here's why. I pay good money for most of my skincare, and it's awesome, but I prep for that. Simple Micellar Water takes everything off my face so that it's a clean palette to work with. And it's as gentle as water so it isn't putting my skin through another step. I even packed a small bottle in my carry on to wipe my face at the airport before and after my international flight. Since it isn't a traditional wash, you just need to wipe your face and you are done. It's genius. We will be doing a little boat camping trip this summer, and I will be packing this for sure!

Mermaid Maxi Moments

Mermaid Maxi Moments

Some days, you just feel like a mermaid. I bought this dress at a teeny tiny store in Manhattan Beach, CA before moving to Nassau. To my imagination, this was what life would be 24/7... with a pina colada in hand. Backless. Cozy. Chic. It's getting there. It's been hard to pry me from my jean shorts, but I'm starting to genuinely fall for maxi dresses. For a while I refused to even wear a tank top because my back broke out so badly, but now that those days are gone, and the sun is it's full glory, I'm loving the warmth on my shoulders. This maxi is making me hunt for even more to live in.

Sunny Day Casual

Sunny Day Casual

If you checked out my Shopular post this week, you know how much I love a good lazy day outfit. And not just on Sundays. I lead a casual life, but I don't think that means you needs to sacrifice your sense of style. Fashion can feel out of reach, but style is for everyone. And to me style is being comfortable in your skin. Doesn't matter what you are wearing.

St Pattys Day Casual

St Pattys Day Casual

As you get older, you still want to take part in the fun of St Patrick's Day. Wear green or get pinched. I'm in. I get it. But you still want to feel like yourself and not a costume version. (Halloween is a totally different story.) I love to wear neutral versions of holiday colors to work or lunch so that I don't feel like I'm screaming "I'm Festive and FUN!"

Sea Shells and Sweaters

Sea Shells and Sweaters

It's hitting that time where every day is a beach day. The other day, Jeff got off work before the sun went down, so we decided to head to the beach downstairs and soak up the last bits of sunshine. The wind was heading in so I grabbed this old BCBGeneration "sweater" on our way out. I don't usually wear jewelry to the beach, but I had been in a sundress, and decided to just leave them on. It felt kind of fancy to wear necklaces with my bathing suit! Only practical for reading on the beach, definitely not a boat day, but it was fun all the same. If you saw my instagram, while we were hanging out and taking pictures, a gentleman found a live conch! It was so gorgeous...

Beach Bag Essentials (+ Giveaway!)

Beach Bag Essentials (+ Giveaway!)

I am at the beach 2+ days a week. It's down stairs so it's hard not to go soak up the sun for at least a few minutes a day. Given that that is our lifestyle we have a beach bag by our door that never gets unpacked. There are a few things that never ever leave my beach bag. Those things are sunscreen, a good book, a towel, and my Evian spray. I can't go to the beach without those things. (In my hand is usually a Tervis or a Coozie holding my cold drink.)
