How to Wear Overalls to Work

Apparently, I'm an adult now. It's happening whether I'm ready or not. While I work in style and PR, I still feel there are ways to dress for fun to any job. (Ok, Most jobs.) Just remember that when you are heading to work, sticking with one trend is the trick. Don't try and be the cover of Nylon or Teen Vogue. Pick a trend you are feeling and keep the rest classic. While crop tops with overalls are all the rage, pairing your (well tailored) overalls with a blouse and heels is a work appropriate way to feel cozy, youthful, and fresh. I love the way this Forever21 blouse lightens up the black jumper. (Remember when I wore it with lace here?) I felt easy going and completely put together. I threw on a pair of amazing Kendra Scott drop earrings and my Alex and Ani bracelets for the perfect subtle bling. Whether you are a teacher, or work in an office, this look is absolutely perfecto.

AND if you are feeling the colder weather, like ya know that thing they call "Fall", pair it with something more like this Piperlime winner. I paired this long sleeved silk blouse with shorts, but it's another great option for your jumper.

Make-up Note: I wasn't thrilled with my make up in the last outfit posts, so I used an old Armani foundation today, and holy cow I love it all over again. I did mix a bit of my Chanel foundation in because I was nervous about the old color matching my skin tone, and I think it added in the perfect sheen. I am a fan of mixing make-ups for sure. I paired my foundations with my beloved Josie Maran highlighter, some light blush, Lancome Mascara, a light champagne old Bobbi Brown shadow, and my L'Oreal Nude by Eva. I am loving the make up in this post. and I don't say that often. I feel like my friends are going to be pretty proud.
