SWIMMIAMI: Outfits, Snacking, Giveaways and More...

SWIMMIAMI was wonderfully insane. This was my second year working the event with The Riviere Agency, and the first time working it under/in partnership with LDJ, and I have to say it was such an amazing honor and pleasure to be a part of the team. Our PR firm kicks major ass.

Working production/PR is a tricky thing. You have to look and feel put together, but you are pulling 20 hour work days and you are barely sleeping or eating. You need to remember to plan your outfits and days accordingly... you need pockets and snacks. Don't forget the snacks or you may cry at 3am. Not saying it happened, but it might have. So, to save you any troubles, I'm bringing you a little #WhatsInMyBag from my favorite #OOTD from SWIMMIAMI.

Finding dresses with pockets is a mission and a half. This SWIMMIAMI I decided to splurge on an Elizabeth and James belt bag to supplement those dresses that lacked in storage.

Here's the things I didn't leave the apartment without...

1. My ID, debit card, and business cards. You need to have your business cards on you. You never know who you are going to strike up and conversation with. For me I carry 3 cards. FromCtoC, The Riviere Agency, and Rodan+Fields. Keep your cards in a cute case so they don't get messy before you pass them on. This one by Kate Spade is adorable.

2. Makeup Essentials: Physicians Formula cover stick and chapstick. I'm a drugstore makeup junkie right now.

3. Snacks! Nature Valley Simple Nut Bar was a perfect pick me up. I am a mess when I am hungry and there is absolutely no time for that during events. Snacking is vital to making sure you get through a busy day. These Nature Valley Nut Bars are gluten free and delicious. Junk food will weigh you down, and you may only have 2 minutes while walking down a hallway to stuff your face; this is a perfect option for just that. And because Nature Valley is so awesome, they are sponsoring a little cash giveaway below so you can try their new bars on the house. Plus, there's a coupon in the entry form (and HERE) incase you don't win and still want to try these yummy snacks yourself.

4. My phone. Your cell is a life line. Whether you are using an app for event check-in, social media, to text a co-worker, or call a media outlet with a change of schedule you live and die by your phone. Make sure it's fully charged and pack a extra battery backup just in case.

As for the outfit...

I got the most compliments on this dress. It's effortless and perfect for summer. Plus it's crazy affordable. I got it on sale but the ASTR line is available at Nordstrom and I am LOVING their floral pieces. The belt bag (which I believe are back and NOT the same as fanny packs) is Elizabeth and James. I'm obsessed with it. Dresses, denim, white tees.. I'm all over where it constantly and I want the black one too. Being hands free is delicious. Hard to get used to at first but feels fantastic.
