Starbucks Holiday Love and Memories

Once upon a time I was a Starbucks Barista. Yup. I worked at Starbucks for a solid set of months, and it was pretty darn hard. I opened the store at 4am and left covered in steamed milk. But I didn't hate it. I was exhausted, sure. I was working several other jobs, and had just started dating my now husband, so sleep was nonexistent. But I learned how to make all the drinks, and I learned a respect for food industry workers that you can only have if you have done it yourself. I learned to stop asking for my latte at 140 degrees like an asshole. I learned how many pumps I like in my hot chocolate (half the amount). And I learned that when your barista messed up your order (your Decaf Latte is 75% not decaf. They will tell you it is when you pick it up. But meh I was usually lying. Decaf is like a whole other thing and it's annoying when you have a line out the door.) it's not the end of the world. Forgive them.

You know who else loves Starbucks? Shopular. As helpful as the Shopular App was during the Black Friday - Cyber Monday craze, it proves vital once again. Today is the last day to enter their Free Month of Starbucks (a $150 Starbucks Gift Card) giveaway. Can you think of all the coffee?! All you have to do is download the free app on your smart phone and then tap the entry button. That's it. For a month of Starbucks!
