Sunset Beach Stroll in Stripes!

These photos are a little dark, but it was such a fun day that I had to share them. We always try to take a beach stroll after work to remind ourselves how lucky we are to live is such a stunning place. It's easy to stare at our computers, work the day away, and then miss things like Target and Nordstroms, or Publix and regular mail, but once we walk outside and look around everything feels lighter and just better. We won't be able to live here forever, and knowing that makes us take in everyday a little more.

OOTD // This is a dress a BCBG Max Azria find that I  tailored to one length. I'm 5ft tall so I need to tailor EVERYTHING, but everyone really should. Clothing is made on sample sizes, not real people. Most pieces need a nip and a tuck, because as we all have learned from Stacey and Clinton: We are perfect, the clothes are not. This dress had a high low seam going on that made me look 2ft tall and Amish. No offense to the Amish, I just wasn't loving it. But I couldn't get rid of it because it is the absolute most comfortable dress in the world. It's literally jammies. So, I hiked up that seam and added a belt by BCBGeneration

I tend to wear this look with my nude Zara sandal heels or my Frye boots.
